Created by IntelStack, independently of Databricks.
IntelStack is a Data and AI consultancy based in Canary Wharf, London. Lakehouse100 is an independent market-recognition initiative — no vendor funding, no paid placements, no editorial compromises.
We built Lakehouse100 because the UK Databricks market needed a credible signal — not a sponsored list, not a LinkedIn popularity contest, but an evidence-led index of people who can actually make this technology work in client environments.
IntelStack works with clients on Data and AI strategy, architecture, and delivery. That proximity to the market is how we assembled the research base for Lakehouse100 — but the index itself operates entirely independently of our commercial work.
No candidate pays to appear. No vendor sponsors a tier. No recruiter buys access. The only thing that gets you on the list is evidence — and the only thing that keeps you there is consent.
The H1 2026 UK Edition is our first publication. We intend to refresh it every six months, holding the same bar and running the same pipeline each time so that movement between editions means something.
Four things we will not compromise on.
Evidence over reputation
A practitioner's public standing counts — but only as a signal, not a conclusion. We follow the evidence, not the brand.
Consent before publication
No profile goes live without explicit consent. Practitioners may review, correct, and decline — and some do. We never override that.
Independence from vendors
Databricks does not review, approve, or influence the index. No technology vendor has any editorial input, commercial relationship, or access to unpublished data.
Stable bar, meaningful movement
We run the same pipeline every edition so that moving up — or appearing for the first time — reflects real change in a practitioner's public record.
Lakehouse100 is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or produced in partnership with Databricks.
The use of Databricks-related terminology in Lakehouse100 is descriptive only — referring to professional experience, credentials, and ecosystem relevance. Databricks and related marks belong to Databricks, Inc. and their respective owners.
Current Databricks employees are excluded from the index. Former employees who now work as practitioners or client-side engineers remain eligible.
IntelStack has no commercial relationship with Databricks, Inc. This index is self-funded and self-directed. No Databricks entity has reviewed, approved, or influenced the content.
What Lakehouse100 is not
